Lucia has decided she can pull up to standing by herself. She has also started to cruise, ever so slowly. She will take steps while holding onto our hands and has even tried to stand while letting go of us. Yeah Lucia!!!
We really enjoy having the deer in the neighborhood. The other day while I was making dinner a doe and her twins were lounging outside our dining room window. The picture is kind of dark but the two fawns are to the left and the doe is on the right.

Fennel, our new kitty, has also discovered the deer. This doe was hanging around for quite a while when we were all playing in the backyard. Fennel kept getting close to the deer whenever it was directly next to the fence. I don't think the deer would be friendly to Fennel if the fence was not there, her ears are back in a defensive position and she looks less than sweet.
