On our way up to Norman we stopped in Fort Worth for a quick lunch with Mimi and Boompa.

Boompa colored with Turner.

Lucia and Turner with their Great Grandparents!

Mimi and Lucia.

The whole gang before we had to get back on the road. We enjoyed spending some time with Mimi and Boompa even if it was just for lunch.
We arrived in Norman in the late evening. The next day we went to the Natural History Museum and to the OU Campus to see where Neal (a professor at OU) spends his days.

Here is Turner excavating a dinosaur bone. This is a pretty neat interactive area for the kids. Dinosaur bones are covered with this sandy substance that is hard to chip away, then the kids that come to the museum get to help slowly excavate the bones.

This is a 10 1/2 foot tall skull. It is the largest, fully intact bone ever discovered.

As you enter the museum this mammoth is the first thing you see. As Aidan ran over to see it this is where he ended up. Not much later. . .

Uncle Michael decided to try it too.

No caption needed here.
After the museum we ate a picnic lunch on the lawn of the OU campus.

Lucia in Turner's sunglasses.

All the kids munching.
Lucia trimming the grass, no doubt to see if it tastes good.
Our little, silly Lucia.
Michael hanging out with the gang.
Turner loving on little Lillian, being held by Madeline, the big sister.
Turner and Lucia just loved looking at Lillian!
Little Lillian.
The next day was Lillian's Baptism. We enjoyed sharing this wonderful day with the Judisch family and are so proud to be Lillian's Godparents.
How precious!
We hated to leave Norman after such a wonderful, long weekend. Janice and Neal were gracious hosts and Madeline, Evelyn and Aidan were so sweet and kind to Turner and Lucia. Turner had a blast playing with them. We hope to be able to go back soon!
We left Oklahoma in the morning and made it into Austin around 4:00. We decided to swing by Grace and Keith's new home in Marble Falls since we had made such good time on the road.
At their new home, Grace and Keith have a lot of deer that hang out in their yard. Here is Turner hand feeding one of the friendly ones.
He got to sit on a "digger" otherwise known as "Scoop" from a cartoon called "Bob the Builder". He was so excited!
This weekend was such a fun weekend being able to see so much of our family!
